CHENARD, ADRIENNE (1925-2009) - Adrienne Chenard passed away peacefully at the Dr Georges L. Dumont hospital in Moncton on Thursday December 10, 2009, at the age of 84. Born in Grande-Anse on November 19, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Dora (Blanchard) Poirier and late Léonard Poirier. She was married to Sylvio Chenard for 48 wonderful years. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, André and Lynn (Fredericton), Annette and Marc (Moncton) and Charles and Marianne (Edmonton), her 8 grand children Michel (Jill), Eric (Florence), Josée (Brent), Denis (Sacha), Sylvie, Danielle (Sébastien), Gabrielle et Christian and one great-grand-daughter Marissa. She will be dearly missed by her 11 brothers and sisters Héliodore (late Juliette) Poirier, Yvonne (late Raymond) Landry, Lucienne (Fidèle) Godin, Rolande (late Jean) Locas, Jean-Paul (Carmen) Poirier, Eugénie (Charles) Miville, Léandre (Raymonde) Poirier, Prudent (Louise) Poirier, Georges (Dorothy) Poirier, Fernand (Constance) Poirier and Roger (Réjeanne) Poirier as well as by many nieces, nephews and friends. A very special thank you to the nurses at the Dr Georges L. Dumont hospital Palliative Care unit. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Funeral Home on Sunday, December 13th, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Ste-Anne-des-Pays on Monday, December 14th, 2009 at 12 noon with Fr. Emery Brien as celebrant.
