CORMIER, FRANCIS JOSEPH "FRANK" - Frank Cormier of Saint John devoted husband for 20 years to Elaine (Doiron) Cormier, passed away unexpectedly on December 15, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1937 in Saint John to the late Oliver and Josephine (Frigault) Cormier. Frank worked as a Supervisor for Part Town Security for many years and was most recently retired. He was a member of the Wiseman Club, volunteered with the Lions and the Salvation Army. Frank had a passion for bowling and loved spending time with his family and friends. Besides his wife Elaine, Frank is survived by his daughter Dominique Marie "Nikki" (Brad) of Halifax, N.S, Jared Oliver Daniel (Melissa) of Saint John and second son Piers Doiron of Saint John; one very precious granddaughter Aliya; one brother Daniel (Kathy) of Ontario; sisters Geraldine Hanlon (Patrick), Elizabeth McIssac, and Joan O'Brien (Michael) all of Saint John; mother-in-law Thelma Doiron of Saint John; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many friends. Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by his brother-in-law Earl McIssac and sister-in-law Lynda Doiron. Resting at the Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Rd. with visitation on Thursday, December 17 from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachims Catholic Church 603 Loch Lomond Rd. on Saturday, December 19, 2009 at 10:00 am. Followed by a reception. Private family interment to take place at a later date.
