LAJEUNESSE, ARMAND - At the Grand Falls General Hospital, December 13, 2009, after a lengthy and courageous battle against cancer, Armand Lajeunesse of Saint-Andre passed away at the age of 61 years. He was married to the former Lucille Rossignol. Born at Drummond in 1948, he was a son of the late Patrick and Winnifred (Durepos) Lajeunesse. Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Luc (partner Nathalie St-Amand) and Lise Lajeunesse (partner Joey Poitras) of Saint-Andre, his brothers and sisters, Ida Lajeunesse (Camille Theriault) and Paul (Claudette) of l'ÃŽle-Bizard, Quebec, Patsy (Yvon "Red" Cote) of Grand Falls, Marie-Jeanne Ouellette (Viateur), Yvette Theriault (Roger), Percy (partner Diane) and Lauraine Laplante (Rejean) of Saint-Andre, Roger of Grand Falls, Ghislain (Suzanne) and Aline Boudreau (Fernand) of Saint- Andre, sister-in-law, Ginette Lajeunesse (late Auguste) of Saint-Andre, as well as nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Auguste "Pit" and Maurice. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 4 pm. His funeral service will be held Friday, December 18th at 4 pm from the Saint-Andre Roman Catholic Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
