DEVEAU, HAZEN EUGENE - At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB on January 4, 2010, Mr. Hazen Eugene Deveau, husband of the late Mrs. Rosaline M. Deveau of Caithness, NB. Born at Mascarene, NB on October 28, 1927, he was a son of the late Alfred and Gertrude (Wilcox) Deveau. A loving brother, uncle and special friend, he is survived by one sister, Shirley (Doug) Raaflaub of St. Andrews, NB, several nieces, nephews, cousins, three sisters-in-law and countless friends. In addition to his loving wife, Rosaline, he was predeceased by three brothers; Leonard, Sherman and Leo. Hazen was known as being friendly and had a smile for everyone he met. He was an avid collector and enjoyed being out on the water boating. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and his family. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB from where the service will be held from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Thursday at 11 am with Father Brian Wetmore officiating. The interment will be held at the St. George Catholic Church Cemetery in the Spring. Visiting at the funeral home will take place on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. In Hazen's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
