CAREW, Beatrice A. (nee Collins)– Passed peacefully away, surrounded by her loving family, at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on Friday February 13th, 2009. Predeceased by her husband Charles; daughter Dorothy Ann Matthews; sisters: Tess Collins and Ruth Collins; brother Ned; sister-in-law Marjorie Carew; brother-in-law Stan Carew. Leaving to mourn with many cherished memories sons: Doug (Sheila), Gord (Joan), Alan (Barb) and John (Debbie); daughters: Cynthia Whelan (John) and Valerie (Paul Kennedy); sisters: Julia Walsh, Betty Solomon (Nelson) and Cecilia Collins; brother-in-law Jim (Winnie); sisters-in-law Margaret Carew, Margaret Collins and Mary Sampson (Gerard); son-in-law Orv; 17 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. The family wishes to express a sincere thank you for the extraordinary care and companionship to our mother, Bea, provided by the nurses, staff and Sisters of Mercy at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home during the past seven years. Resting at Caul‚s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Saturday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, February 16th, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Cremation to follow.
