DAVID PAUL DONOVAN
DONOVAN, DAVID PAUL - The death of David Paul Donovan, loving husband of Sandra (Marr) Donovan occurred on Wednesday January 6, 2010 at The Sussex Health Centre. Born in 1946 in Saint John, he was the son of Catherine (Fritch) and the late Donald Donovan. David worked as an Installation Technician for Bell Aliant for many years before his retirement. He was an avid fisherman, duck hunter and was a member of the Tenant's Cove Gun Club. He loved to build and carve and always enjoyed working on his antique truck. In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by two sons Mark (Helen) Donovan of Halifax and Troy (Angela) of Ottawa; one grandchild Clara Donovan; twin brother and best fishing buddy Mike (Annie) Donovan of Quispamsis and brother Patrick (Donna) Donovan of Cape Breton; sister Susan (Neil) Dunnigan of Edmonton. Besides his father, he was predeceased by one brother Thomas Donovan. The family would like to thank all of our family, friends and neighbors for all their support during David's courageous battle with cancer. Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd. Saint John (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
