SCRIBNER, FRANCIS - The death of Francis Herbert Scribner, age 80, of Hampton, NB, occurred in Saint John, NB on January 23, 2010. He was the husband of Josephine (Morrell) Scribner of Hampton, NB. He was born at Framingham, MA, on January, 22, 1930, the son of the late Leslie and Viola (Spence) Scribner. Francis is survived by his wife; son Alan Scribner of Avon, CT; daughter Cynthia Scribner of Hatfield Point, NB; grandchildren Rebecca, Kaelee and Jessica; great grandchildren Lana Rae and Ethan; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by brothers Dr. James, Albert and Douglas Scribner. He is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visitation on Wednesday from 2 to 8 pm. The funeral will be held from Hatfield Point Baptist Church, Hatfield Point, NB, on Thursday, January 28, 2010, at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Bayview Cemetery at a later date.
