SPIVEY, JANET (HOGAN) - The death of Janet Mary Spivey, formerly of Saint John, NB, occurred on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born in Saint John, on November 12, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Inez and Leo Beaulieu and Helena and James Hogan. Survived by her husband, Fred Spivey Sr.; her daughters, Angela Greene and Tonya Spivey and her son, Fred Spivey Jr. all of Ohio; her brothers, Brian Hogan (Freda) of Saint John and Francis Hogan of Montreal, QC; her sister, Sheila "Donna" Hogan-Loatman of Saint John; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; godson, Brian Loatman, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Janet was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Arrangements under the care and direction of Walker Funeral Home, 7830 Hamilton Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio (513-522-6100). A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 from St. John Baptist (Mission Church) and St. Clement, 815 Millidge Ave, Saint John (633-5055) at 7:30 pm. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
