SPRAGUE, GENEVA - The death of Geneva Olive Sprague, age 84, wife of the late Edmund Sprague, of Springfield, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, Sussex, NB, on Sunday, January 31, 2010. She was born at Kiersteadville, NB, on September 18, 1925, the daughter of the late Hazen and Emily (Sprague) Sprague. Geneva is survived by sons Allen and Barb Sprague of Gondola Point, and Rodney and Debby Sprague of Midland; grandchildren Scott, Cory, April, Holly, Ryan and Kyle; eight great grandchildren; sister Lila Humphrey, of Norton; foster brothers Billy Fulton, of Boston, MA, and Charles Steevens, of Saint John; sister-in-law Verna Sprague of Kiersteadville; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son Terry and brother Everett. The family will receive visitors at Sherwood's Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, on Thursday, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. A memorial service will be held from Sherwood's Chapel at 11:00 am on Friday, February 5, 2010.
