LITTLE, RODERICK JOHNSON - Roderick J. Little of Harvey, NB passed away January 29, 2010 at the Harvey Health Centre. Roderick was the only child of the late Oscar and Evelyn (Johnson) Little. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he was born in Harvey on September 12, 1924. Rod is survived by his wife of 58 years, Marilyn A. (Muir) Little; two sons, Bernard Little (Cathy) of Harvey and Matthew Little (Melinda) of Burnaby, BC; three daughters, Barbara Little, Brenda Little (Donnie Bright) and Norma Harris (Danny), all of Harvey; nine grandchildren, two step grandchildren and a great grandchild. Rod was a self- employed farmer and worked at Briggs and Little's Woolen Mill for many years. By Rod's request, there will be no visitation. However, friends are welcome to attend a memorial service at St. Andrew's United Church, 2350 Route 3, Harvey on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 3 p.m. with Rev. Kay Clowater officiating. A reception will be held in the C.E. Centre following the service. Interment will be later in Harvey Settlement Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Rod, the family has suggested the Harvey Health Centre Foundation, the Fredericton SPCA, the IWK or a charity of the donor's choice.
