David Cyril Cook ELLIOTT LAKE, ON - The death of David Cyril Cook of Elliott Lake, Ont. occured at the Leamington Hospital at the age of 75. Born in Newcastle, the son of the late Helen (Stables) and Joseph Cook. He is survived by his wife, Marion (Cook); four sons, Douglas (Pauline) of Russell, Manitoba, Gordon (Heidi) of Canton, Michigan, Alan (Pat) of Essex, Ont. and Kenneth (Anita) of Zeeland, Michigan; one brother, George (Gwen) of Saint John, NB and one sister, Elisabeth Russell (Stewart) of Tatamagouche, NS. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren. He attended Mount Allison University and a graduate of Queens University in mining engineering in 1949. He was involved in mine management and development in Ont. B.C and Manitoba. A memorial service will be held at the Elliott Lake Bible Chapel, Wednesday with burial and committal in New Mills, NB in the spring.
