Arthur Mitchell 1910-2002 SOUTH BRANCH, NB - Arthur Mitchell, 91 years, of South Branch, passed away Monday, January 7, 2002 at the Stella Maris Hospital, Ste. Anne following a brief illness. Born in Amherst, NS, he was the son of the late William Mitchell and Mable (Beers) Mitchell. Retired, he had been employed at Warren's Ltd. as a construction worker. Arthur attended Zion Presbyterian Church, West Branch and was an avid Harmonica Musician and repaired clocks as a hobby. He is survived by one sister, Emma Shediac (Albert), Moncton; two brothers, John Mitchell (late Eileen), South Branch, Edwin Mitchell, Neguac; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters, Helen, infant Dorothy and four brothers, Harold, Kenneth, Alfred and Ernest. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto (523-4252) with visiting hours Wed. 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be Thursday, January 10, 2002, 2:00 P.M. from Thomspon's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Zion Presbyterian Cemetery, West Branch. If so desired, donations to the Zion Presbyterian Cemetery or the memorial of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
