Earl James McPhee

Earl James McPhee 1926-2002 The death of Earl McPhee 75, of Belleview Ave, Moncton, occured at The Dr. Georges-L Dumont Hospital on Tuesday, April 9, 2002. Born in New Glasgow, NS, he was the son of the late James A. and Catherine (Stewart) McPhee. Earl was a highly decorated veteran of WWII and served with Canadian Army, Special Forces in Northwest Europe, Britain and the Far East. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch NO. 6 and he specially loved playing crib with his friends. Earl is survived by his wife Ella MacKay; daughters Elizabeth Landry (Jean-Claude), Marilyn Squires (John), Marlene Killam (Don) all of Moncton, Jeannie and Patsy McPhee of Charlottetown, PEI; sons, Jimmy and Ernie Mamye of Charlottetown and Timmy Mamye of Dartmouth, NS; sisters, Gladys Melanson and June Pope of Halifax , NS, and Phyllis Bouchard (Raymond) of Antigonish, NS; brother Sterling McPhee of Belleville, ON, very special grandchildren Madison Landry and Shawn Squires, as well as numerous other grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter Helen McPhee. Resting at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 177 Salisbury Road with visiting hours on Friday, April 12 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm with a Legion Service at 7pm. Funeral service Saturday at 2 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Tim Guptill officiating. A reception to follow in the Family Reception Room of the Funeral Home. Donations to the New Brunswick Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
