Therese Richard ROGERSVILLE, NB - Mrs. Therese Richard of Rogersville passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 10, 2002 at the age of 76. Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of Theo and Sarah (LeBlanc) Maillet. She was a home maker and attended St. Francois de Sales Roman Catholic Church in Rogersville. Therese was a member of the Golden Age Club and the Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch #38 in Rogersville. She is survived by her one son Arthur of Toronto; one daughter Etiennette (Hurbert Pittman) of Toronto; one granddaughter Nathalie Lamont (Michael) and their daughter Michelle; five sisters, Edna Dube, Claudie Bourque, Mary McFadden, all of Fredericton, Elmire Guimond of Toronto and Anna Richard (Ernest) of Rogersville and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Etienne, she was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur and John Maillet; three sisters, Lena LeBlanc, Beatrice Dion and Clarinda Richard. The family received relatives and friends at St. Francois de Sales Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room in Rogersville on Thursday, April 11, 2002 from 7 to 9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 12, 2002 at 2pm at St. Francois de Sales Roman Catholic Church with Father Jean Guy Dallaire officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery later in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
