Thomas Joseph Chase 1943 - 2002 Thomas Joseph Chase, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday evening, May 7, 2002 at the age of 59 years. Born in Pointe Du Chene, on April 5, 1943, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary (LeBlanc) Chase. He worked as a taxi driver for Air cab, most recently was a delivery person for L.S. Delivery. He was a member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #7940 He is survived by his wife Joanne (O'Niell); daughters, Katrina Chase at home, Kimberley "Kim" Chase of Mississauga ON; sons, Robert Chase at home, Kevin Chase (Virginia) Mississauga, Alexander Chase of the Phillipines, Thomas Chase (Rachel) of Mississauga, and Danny Frazer of Moncton; sisters, Virginia (Art) Gautreau of Gallagher Ridge, Irene Briggs of Moncton, Yvonne Chase of Moncton, Marie (Fred) Collette of Moncton, Elizabeth (Raymond) Gallant of Moncton, Rita (Dave) Roy of Winnipeg; four brothers, Roger (Rose) of Blacks Harbor,Charlie (Denise), Jonny (Theresa), Harry (Josephine) all of Moncton; five grandchildren and one great grand daughter.Besides by his parents, he was predeceased by one brother Alexander Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street on Thursday May 9, 2002 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. There will be a prayer vigil at the funeral home at 8:30pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church on Friday, May 10, 2002 at 2:00 pm with Fr. Allison Carroll Officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date. In Thomas' memory,donations made to the Elevator Fund at St. Augustines Church would be appreciated by his family.
