(Reg) Formerly of Bell Island, passed peacefully away at the Masonic Park Nursing Home on Friday, August 1, 2008. Reg was a life member of the Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Newfoundland, the Association of Newfoundland and Land Surveyors, he was also a member of the Masonic Fraternity (Lodge Tasker #454), as well as the Shriners for the past eighty years. Reginald Taylor aged 103 years. Predeceased by first wife Eugenie Lester (1940); second wife Dorothy Mews (1982); and sons: Colin (2001) and Robin (2008). Leaving to mourn are sons: Lester (Jean) and David (Bernadette); daughters-in-law: Margaret Taylor and Joy Taylor; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service to be held at Barrett's Chapel, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service from Barrett's reception lounge.
