Harriet Morton 1917-2002 Harriet (Hattie) Morton , 84, widow of Ronald Morton , from Ford Bank NB, passed away at Lion's Nursing Home, Rexton, Thursday June 6, 2002. Born in Amherst, NS. She was the daughter of the late Albert Girvan and Euphemia (Ross) Girvan. She attended the Seventh Day Adventist, Moncton. She was survived by two daughters, Donna Pflieger(Henry) of Riverview, NB and Allie Alward (Larry) of Havelock, NB; one son, Peter (Grace) Morton of Ford Bank; one daughter-in-law, Brenda of Richibucto; one brother Gordon Girvan (Marjorie) of Ford Bank, NB; 13 grandchildren, Charlene, Diane, Cathy, Lorna, Barbara, Garland, Darrell, Marshall, Andy, Trevor, Amanda, Marlin, Melody and 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by one son, Ardene and wife Davida Walker; one sister Winnie Blenkhorn; two brothers, Garnet and Earle. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto, visiting at 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 on Friday June 07, 2002. Funeral service at Thompson's Funeral Home Chapel, Richibucto on Saturday June 8, 2002 at 2:30pm with Pastor Barry Hubley officiating. Interment in Zion Presbyterian Cemetery, West Branch.
