Graham: Martha Hazel, of Great Village, passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 16, 2009 at home, surrounded by her family, in her 104th year. Born in Great Village she was a daughter of the late David Edgar and Ethel (Keith) Graham. Martha had a long and varied career and retired from the Department of National Defense in 1970. She is survived by brother, Edgar; nephews, Keith (Mary), Cortland (Anne), Wayne (Norma); nieces, Carol Hann (Gord), Lynn Wolf (John), Betty-Jean Graham; niece-in-law, Darlene Graham; 18 great nieces and nephews; 32 great-great nieces and nephews; 1 great-great-great niece. She was predeceased by brothers, Harold, Earle and Frederick; sisters, Achsah Drake, Mary Graham, Margaret Muise and Sylvia McCann; nephew, David Graham. Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. today and funeral service 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, all in the Royal Canadian Legion, Great Village, with Rev. Don MacQueen officiating. Interment to be held at a later date in the Mahon Cemetery, Great Village. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the St. James United Church, Great Village, or to a charity of your choice.
