Yvon Roy 1942 - 2002 MURRAY SETTLEMENT, NB - At the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Friday, September 27, 2002, passed away after a short sickness, Yvon Roy, spouce of Thérèse Doucette, from Murray Settlement. Born October 19th, 1942, he was the son of the late Joseph King (Roy) and Eva Richard of Riverview. He is survived by his wife and his mother, as well as one daughter, Ginette (Bernard Carroll) from Rogersville; one son, Réjean (Christine LeBlanc) from Rogersville; two sisters, Yvette (André Morin) from Laval, QC, and Joanne (Kim Jones) from Riverview; one brother, Daniel from Bathurst three grandchildren, Janice, Marc and Céline, and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Roy was a member of the Canadian Legion Number 38. Family is now receiving visitors at "La Colombe" Funeral Home in Rogersville. The Funeral Service will be held at the NotreDame-de-Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Collette, Monday, September 30, at 11 am. Visiting hours: Saturday, September, 28, from 7 to 9 pm, Sunday, September 29, from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9pm and Monday, September 30, from 9 am until the departure for the Funeral Service.
