Passed peacefully away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island on Sunday, August 3, 2008, age 85. Daughter of the late Leonard and Janet Sheppard, Harbour Grace South, Newfoundland, she is predeceased by her five sisters and three brothers. Survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Noel S. Facey; sons: Noel (Beverly), Tony (Linda); daughters: Beverley (Sidney Peddle), Janet (John Prentice); sisters-in-law: Doreen Facey, St. John's and Patricia Facey, England; brother-in-law Roy Ash, St. John's; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves a large circle of nieces, nephews and close friends including special friend Ramona Woolridge, Corner Brook, Newfoundland. A funeral service will be held in Prince Edward Island at St. Mark's Anglican Church, South Rustico, on Tuesday, August 5 at 7 p.m. Burial will take place in Newfoundland at a later date.
