Fred A. Legere SACKVILLE, NB - The death of Fred A. Legere, age 87, of Sackville occurred at the Sackville Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Sackville, he was a son of the Late Mac and Edmee (Legere) Legere. Formerly employed at Enterprise Foundry, as a sheet metal worker with 34 years of service, he was a member of the St. Vincent's RC Church, Sackville. A musician, he was a former church organist and band member. He is survived by his wife the former Rita Legere, Sackville; a daughter, Doreen (Alan) Johnson, Sackville; two granddaughters, Karen & Michelle; three brothers, Camille, Mass., Lorne (Helen), Sackville and John (Flora), Memramcook; two sisters, Phyllis McFee, Sackville and Elise (Tootsie) Landry, Sackville. He was predeceased by a daughter Phyllis in 1996; three brothers, Hector, Edward and Roy; and two sisters, Ina and Mary. Resting at Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge St., Sackville (364-1300) with visitation Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, December 27, 2002 at 11 AM at St. Vincent's Roman Catholic Church, Sackville, Father Phil Mulligan officiating.
