Maria Thibodeau 1928 - 2002 CAP PELE, NB - Maria Thibodeau, 74, of Cap Pele, NB, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L Dumont Hospital on Wednesday, December 25, 2002. Born in Haut Aboujagane on April 1, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Mélina (Petitpas) Arsenault. She is survived by her children, Lina (Amed) Berkane of Moncton, Willie Thibodeau (Velma Duguay) of Cap Pele and Ginette Thibodeau (Gerry Hebert) of Shediac; grandchildren Denis and Nadine; siblings, Lorraine Landry (Pierre) of Assomption, PQ, Gilbert Arsenault (Patsy) of Toronto, Marie Léa LeBlanc (Donald) of Haut Aboujagane, Gérald Arsenault (Claudette) of Barachois, Anne Marie Maillet-LeBlanc (Henri) of Arizona and Alfred Arsenault (Paulette) of Alta. as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Maria was predeceased by her husband, Fidèle Thibodeau; brothers Levis, Clovis, Victorien and Acquila; sisters Angella, Céline and Julia. Visitation will be held in the Ste. Therese D'Avila Church basement in Cap Pele on Monday, December 30 from 10:00AM until the start of the11:00 AM Funeral Mass. A reception will follow in the Club d'Age d'Dor. Interment will be in the church cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice.
