The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, of Rae Adams, of Summerside, aged 83 years. Born in Montague, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Winifred (McLaren) Vickerson. Survived by her cousin, Gordon (Hannelore) Scrimgeor, Spencerville, Ont., nephew, Alan (Elaine) Eldridge, St. John, N.B. nieces Judy (Paul) Miller, London, Ont., and Marilyn (Barry) Underwood, St. John, N.B., her special family Barb (Gordon) Reeves and their family, North Bedeque, and by a large extended family of cousins. Predeceased by her husband, Donald Adams. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. Completed funeral arrangements and visiting hours to be announced later. Interment will later take place in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Valley. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or Trinity United Church would be appreciated.
