At Western Hospital, Alberton, on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, of Esther Mary Arsenault of Roxbury aged 80, wife of the late Fred W. Arsenault. Born on Oct. 13, 1928, in Fortune Cove, daughter of the late Edmond and Fannie Arsenault. Cherished mother of Elaine (Wayne) MacCormick, O’Leary, Allan (Heather), Fort McMurray, Alta. Loving grandmother of Tammy MacKendrick, Northport, Wendy (Brian) Perry, Montrose, Julie (David) Matthews, Montrose, Shawn Arsenault, Vancouver, and 11 great grandchildren. Sister of Emma O’Meara, Alberton, sister-in-law of Jean Arsenault, Charlottetown, Ralph Arsenault, Maplewood Manor, Alberton. Predeceased by a brother, Raymond. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary, with visiting hours Thursday 2 to 4 p.m. and Friday until 10 a.m. then to St. Anthony’s Church, Woodstock, for funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Parish Cemetery in the spring.
