BADCOCK, Douglas Edward– The family of Doug are saddened to announce his peaceful passing in their presence at the Toronto East General Hospital on Monday, February 16, 2009. With fond and loving memories he leaves his devoted and darling wife Brenda Green-Badcock. Predeceased by his parents Eric and Marjorie Badcock, and father of Connie Fitler and Vanessa Badcock. Loved brother of Suzanne Dodge (Roy), Libby Roberts (Larry) and Dianne Barnes (Morris). He leaves his sister-in-law Eileen Doyle (Bruce), his mother-in-law Cora Green (and his late father-in-law Stewart Green) and brothers-in-law Wayne (Carolyn) and Clyde (Lori), along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and extended family and dear friends both in Ontario and Newfoundland. A memorial service to commemorate Doug’s life will be held at the Pine Hills Visitation, Chapel and Reception Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (at St. Clair Ave. East, 416-267-8229) on Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 11 a.m., with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Cremation, with a reception to follow at Pine Hills.
