Edith Lambert Edith Lambert, 87, of Moncton, passed away at K. E. Spencer Memorial Home on Tuesday, February 25, 2003. Born in Whitneyville, NB she was the daughter of the late Colin and Olive (Much) Whitney. She was a former employee of the Dept. of Transport before her retirement. Edith was a member of First United Baptist Church in Moncton and was a life member of the I.O.D.E. Westmorland Chapter and she was Past President of the Business Ladies Curling at the M.C.A. She is survived by husband, John M. Lambert; by her sister-in-law, Thyra & her husband W. J Quartermain of Moncton; and by nieces and nephews. Edith was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, Alton, Leonard and Orrin; and a sister, Lenore. Visitation is at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz St. Moncton on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The Funeral Service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Thursday, February 27, 2003 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Richard Jackson officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in the spring.
