Beryl C. Logan 1924 - 2003 Beryl C. Logan, wife of Harold Logan of Runnymede Rd. Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 following a brief illness. Born in Moncton on October 22, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Stan and Florence (Drysdale) Steeves. She was a member of the Moncton branch of the FSNA, an associate member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Moncton branch # 6, and a former member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Beryl especially enjoyed her flower gardens, doing crafts, camping with Harold, and having the kids visit. She was very active behind the scenes with a variety of volunteer organizations (Head Start, Canadian Cancer Society, Salvation Army), and known for sharing her Christian strength of friendship, kindness, and caring. Those who knew her will smile when they remember her great sense of humor and contagious laugh. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 54 years, Harold. W. Logan; daughter, Jo-Anne Simpson (Keith) of Indian Shores, Fla; son, Bruce H. of Riverview; sister, Helen of Moncton; two grandsons, Scott, & Ian; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother, Russell (Bud), and a sister Clarice. Visitation will be Monday, March 3, from 1 PM until service time at 2 PM in Fair Haven Funeral Home chapel. A reception will follow in the family reception room of the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations in memory of Beryl, may be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
