Edmund O'Neal Chapman UPPER SACKVILLE, NS - Edmund O'Neal Chapman, 83, of Upper Sackville, passed away Friday, February 28, 2003 in the VG site QEII Halifax. Born in Moncton, NB, June 29, 1919, the son of the late Edward C. and Sadie B. Chapman, Moncton, NB. He was a veteran of WWII RCAF. A certified aircraft maintenance engineer, member of the United Ostomy Association (Halifax Chapter), Sackville Legion (Calais Branch 162) and Air Canada Pionairs. He retired in 1983, after serving 25 years as an Air Canada Employee. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 58 years, Iris (Card); son, Edward B. and daughter-in-law, Judy, Upper Sackville; and sister, Kaye Steeves, Moncton, NB; two granddaughters, Michelle (Chad) Richardson, Calgary, Alberta and Stephanie (Chris) Fifield, Moncton, NB; great grandson, Alex Fifield, Moncton, NB; two nephews, Lloyd (Zoeline) Steeves, NB, Gary (Trudy) Steeves, NB; and two nieces, Donna (John) Gardiner, Edmonton, Alberta and Jean Atkinson, NB. Predecessed by sister, Marjorie Johnston, NB. Cremation will take place and visitation will be Monday, March 3, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Atlantic Funeral Home, Sackville Drive. Service will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at 1:00pm at Knox United Church, Sackville. Reception to follow in church hall.
