Joseph V. LeBlanc

Joseph V. LeBlanc 1911-2003 FOX CREEK, N.B. - Joseph V. LeBlanc, 91, of Fox Creek, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born in Belliveau Village, he was the son of the late Vincent and the late Celina (née: Cormier) LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc was retired from CN after 34 years, was a 3rd degree Knight of Colombus, and a parishioner of St. Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, N.B. He is survived by his wife, Delia (née: Cormier); three daughters, Stella (Abraham) Robichaud, Geraldine (Gerard) Johnson, both of St. Ignace and Jeannine (Alphonse) Doucet of Bathurst; three sons, Ulysse (late Carol) of Whitby, ON, Jean of Dover and Dollard (Cecile) of Moncton; one sister, Marguerite Gauvin of Moncton; 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Mr. LeBlanc was predeceased by three sisters, Marie, Emma and Rosanne; and by three brothers, Camille, Dosithé and Polithe. Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, 857-1901, on Thursday March 6, 2003 from 7 to 9 pm. Family has requested strictly private visitation on Friday morning. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from St. Anselme Roman Catholic Church, Dieppe, on Friday, March 7, 2003 at 11 am. Interment in St. Anselme Parish Cemetery, Dieppe, N.B.
