C.R. (Bob) Drysdale
It is with sorrow, but in celebration of a life well lived that we announce the passing of Bob Drysdale on February 15, 2009. He was born on June 10, 1917, the eldest of five children born to R.W. (Bob)and Marion Agnes Drysdale of Spring Valley, SK. Bob was predeceased by his wife Anne (Winter), brothers Hugh and Jim and sisters-in-law Jeanne and Marjorie. Left to honor and cherish his memory is daughter Darlene (Brian) Cocks of Melfort and their sons Stephen, Sean (Carey) and Scott(Pascale); daughter Gloria (David) Mattern of Regina and their children Patti and Michael; Bob's brother Grant of Regina, sister Marion (Lyle)Trenholm of Deseronto, ON, sister-in-law Dorothy of Moose Jaw, nieces Luetta and Marlene; nephews Bob, Ken, Lyle, Brian and Don. He will also be fondly remembered by all of Anne's family. A Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving was held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel, Moose Jaw, on Friday, February 20, 2009, at 1:00 pm. Della Ferguson will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association or M.S. Society of Canada (Sask. Division).
