Ida Martin Ida Martin, 62, widow Edouard Martin of St. Georges Street, Moncton passed away on Friday, March 7, 2003 at The Moncton Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Shediac, October 5, 1940 she was the daughter of the late George Gallant and Edmée Gautreau. She is survived by four daughters, Jeannette Martin (Donald Vautour), Thérèse Martin (Maurice Cormier), Jeannine Martin and Rose-Marie Bonnell (John) all of Moncton; two sons, Ronald of Moncton and Roger of Saint John; six grandchildren, Shawn, Matthew, Michel, Bradley, Jessie, Kyla; a sister, Maria Melanson of Oshawa, ON.; one adopted sister, Edmée Gautreau of Moncton; four brothers, Ernest (Rosita) of Nanaimo, BC., Jimmy (Germaine) of Elliot Lake, ON., Eddie (Andréa) of Curtis, ON., Léo-Paul of Victoria, B.C.; one adopted brother, Laurie Gautreau (Anna) of Moncton; several nieces and nephews, and her former son-in-law, Vincent Martin of Moncton. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her adoptive parents, Edouard and Marie Gautreau; a sister, Germaine Cormier, one adopted sister, Régina Gautreau; two brothers, Françis, Roger and a step-brother, Patrick Gautreau. Resting at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 88 Church Street, Moncton (8581900) with visiting hours on Monday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m., Tuesday from 9a.m. until departure time at 9:40a.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at Notre-Dame-de-Gr¥ce Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Internment in Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shediac. At the request of the family, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
