Mary Helen Dempsey 1946-2003 Mary Helen Dempsey, of Laura Lane, Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, March 29, 2003 at the age of 57. Born in Nashcreek, NB on January 19, 1946 she was the daughter of the late James and Theresa (Martin) Hickey. Mary attended St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church. Mary is survived by her husband, Brine Dempsey Sr.; two daughters, Lucy Dempsey of Vancouver, BC and Violet Leger (Denis) of Moncton; five sons, Brine Jr. of Ontario, Kenny (Darlene), William (Carla) and Justin of Moncton and James (Heather) of Riverview; two sisters, Ann Lutes (Wayne) and Jean Lutes (Dean) of Moncton; three brothers, Hector (Allison) Hickey, Clarence Hickey and John Hickey of Moncton; 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Besides her parents Mary was predeceased by a brother, Jimmy Hickey. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home, 171 Lutz Street, Monday, March 31, 2003 from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at 11:30 am with Fr. Allison Carroll officiating. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery.
