Gwendolyn Joyce MELROSE, NB The death of Gwendolyn Joyce, age 81 of Moncton and formerly of Melrose, NB occurred at the Spencer Nursing Home on Saturday, April 12, 2003. Born in Melrose, she was a daughter of the late Owen and Jennie (Dunn) Helm. She is a member of St. Bartholomew's Roman Catholic Church, Melrose, NB. Gwen leaves to mourn nine sons, Wally (Sue), Curtis (Shirley), Charles (Joanne), Michael, Robert, Jimmy (Georgina), Eugene (Bev), Donald (Juanita) and John (Kim); four daughters, Marilyn (Bernie), Mary (Brian), Joan and Jocelyn; numerous grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, John and by sons, Brian and Richard. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main Street, Port Elgin with visitation Monday 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at the St. Bartholomew's Roman Catholic Church, Melrose on Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at 11 AM, Rev. Father Philip Mulligan officiating.
