Robert Hezikiah (Bobby) Norton MIRAMICHI, NB- The death of Robert Hezikiah (Bobby) Norton husband of the late Pauline (Ward) Norton of King George Highway, Miramichi, occurred peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, April 16, 2003 at the age of 78. Born in Trout Brook, he was the son of the late Steven and Mae (Waye) Norton. He was a member of St. James & John United Church. Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 90 Sunny Corner, NB TEL Pioneers and Douglastown Senior Citizen Group. Robert is survived by; one daughter, Ann Norton at home; two sons: Steven (Toni Paul) of Red bank, NB and Paul (Sandra) of Millerton, NB; three brothers: Herschel of Sevogle, NB, Hubert (Phyllis) of Trout Brook, NB and Douglas (Joan) of Sunny Corner, NB; two sisters: Alice Norton of Hamilton, ON and Olive Peters (Jimmy) of Michigan; four grandchildren: Kenzie, Sam, Pauline, and Jack Norton and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by seven brothers:Burton Willis, Weldon, Ronald, Harvey, Leonard, and Henry (Infant) and one sister: Annie. The family will receive visitors at Bell's Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from St. James and St. John United Church on Saturday April 19, 2003 at 11 am with Rev. Sandrabelle Rogers officiating. Burial will take place in the Miramichi Cemetery later in the spring. For those who wish, memorial tributes may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
