Lorraine Levy SCARBOROUGH, ON - Lorraine Levy, 80, of Scarborough, ON, passed away on April 12, 2003 at the Scarborough Centenary Hospital after a brief illness. Born on November 18, 1922 in Barachois, NB, she was the daughter of the late Adelard Gallant and Leonie Leger Fougere. She is survived by her 11 children, Dorothy Goguen (Ronald), Donald (Muriel), both of Shediac, NB, Sandra O'Blenis (Joseph), Linda Reid, both of Hillsborough, NB, James (Barbara), Georgetown, ON, Gerald (Eldora), Coverdale, NB, Patricia Stevens, Yarmouth, NS, Terrance Doiron (Alfreda), Cap Pele, NB, Thomas Levy (Elizabeth), Debby McDonough (Bryan), both of Pickering, ON and Robert Paul of Scarborough, with whom she resided. She is also survived by a brother, Ovilla Gallant (Eileen) of Shediac Bridge; sisters, Edna Gould (Yvon), Moncton, twin sister Aurore Doiron (Napoleon), Shediac, Maria Eldridge (Donald), Edmonton, AB; 25 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Levy (1970); four sisters, Sarah, Theotis Melanson (Edward), Armance, and Juliette Moger (Orville); two brothers, Arias (Emma) and Arthur (Catherine); also by one granddaughter Laura McDonough (2001). There was no visitation by request. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Barachois at a date to be announced later.
