Ada Pauline Biddle
Ada Pauline Biddle 1941 - 2003 MEMRAMCOOK, NB - Ada Pauline Biddle, of Memramcook, NB passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, April 30, 2003 at the age of 61 years. Born in Sackville, NB on June 6, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Rhoda (Wigmore) Hicks. She was a member of St. Georges Anglican Church. Ada was a volunteer for the Hemophiliac Society. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, gardening, bird watching, and most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, she will be sadly missed by her husband, John Thomas Biddle; daughters, Deborah "Debbie" (Brian) Upham and Kathy (Howard) Foster all of Lakeburn, NB; sons, Peter (Karen) Biddle of Bridgewater, NS, and Gordon "Gordie" (Joanne) Biddle of Dieppe, NB; sisters, Kathleen "Kay" (Cecile) Owens of Saint John, NB, and Darlene (Dale) Sutherland of Memramcook, NB; and nine grandchildren. Also, she and John opened their hearts and home to over 20 foster children over the years. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Helen Balser and Patricia "Pat" Estabrooks. At her request there will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home. The Memorial Service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Memorial Chapel on Saturday, May 3, 2003 at 11:00 am with Canon David Mercer officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. In Ada's memory, donations made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Hemophiliac Clinic would be appreciated by her family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Tuttle Bros.
