Hector J.Gautreau 1927 - 2003 NOTRE DAME, NB - Hector Joseph Gautreau, 76, Notre Dame, NB and formerly of Oshawa, ON passed away at Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital in Moncton on Saturday, May 03, 2003. Born in Moncton he was the son of the late Patrick and Ida (Williams) Gautreau. He was employed with General Motors of Canada on the assembly line and later retired from the Maintenance Dept. He was also employed in Moncton with the Gas & Electric Company. Hector was a member of the Club D'Age D' Or in Dieppe. He is survived by daughters, Jean MacLean (Rick) of Ponty Pool, ON, Barb of Oshawa, ON and Colleen (Bill) of Belleville, ON; sons, Paul (Rhona) and Ronnie (Sharon) all of Calgary, AB; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a dear friend Edna LeBlanc and her family of Dieppe; brother, Norm (Lucille) of Vancouver, BC and sister, Theresa (Carmen) of Belleville, ON and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Mabel (Gaudet) and by four brothers and four sisters. Visitation is at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home in Moncton on Monday, May 5, 2003 from 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, May 7th at Armstrong's Funeral Home Oshawa, ON from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Phillips Roman Catholic Church in Oshawa, ON on Thursday, May 08, 2003 at 10:30 am with Fr. Ed. Ewcznski officiating. Interment will be in Reserection Cemetery. Donations to Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital Foundation Dialysis Unit or to Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
