Miles Dalton Hayes MIDLAND, NB - The death of Miles D. Hayes, age 93, of Midland, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, Monday, May 5, 2003. Miles was the husband of Ethel (Price) Hayes and son of the late Oran and Hannah (Burnett) Hayes. Miles was a farmer, in Midland all his life, and he drove school bus for many years. He was very involved in his church, where he served as a Deacon. Miles is survived by his wife; daughters, Annabel and Collin Lewis, Riverview and Jeanne and Garth MacPhee, Nine Mile Creek, PEI; sons, David and Roberta, Moncton, Daniel and Evelyn and Stephen and Valerie, Midland; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two nieces, two nephews and several cousins. Predeceased by great-grandsons, Thomas and Caleb Welling and sister, Greta Hayes. Resting at the Midland Baptist Church, Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm, from where funeral service will be held Thursday, May 8, 2003 at 3:00 pm. Interment will be in the Midland Cemetery.
