Peter Edgar McNair 1928 - 2003 Peter Edgar McNair, of Riverview, and formerly of New Mills, NB passed away at his residence on Monday, May 12, 2003 at the age of 75 years. Born in Charlo, NB on May 10, 1928 he was the son of the late Peter E. and Annie M. (Murchie) McNair. He was retired from the NBIP Pulp and Paper Mill after 40 years service. He was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Survived by his wife of 34 years Persilla Joan (MacLean), daughter Donna and her husband John McGuire of Charlottetown, PE, sisters Ruby and her husband Doug Wilson of Killam, NB, and Alma McNair of Ontario, brother James and his wife Joan McNair of Lyndhurst, Ontario. Also by Grandsons Kyle P. and Cory J. Blakely of Riverview. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sisters Esther, Beth, Anna, and Mary, also by brothers John, Fraser, and Archibald. At his request there will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home. The Memorial Service will be held at Riverview Funeral Home on Thursday, May 15, 2003 at 11:00 am with Rev. J. Martin Kreplin Officiating. Interment will be in Alderwood Cemetery. In Peter's memory, donations made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital or to The NB Lung Association would be appreciated by his family.
