John "Jack" J.R. Arnold

John "Jack" J.R. Arnold 1925 - 2003 John "Jack" Arnold, 77, of Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, May 30, 2003 following a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Campbellton, NB he was the son of the late Percy J. and Amelia M. (Beck) Arnold. He was a retired salesman with Sumner Tire Ltd. He was a member of St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church. Jack was a Veteran of W.W.II, he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #6, a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus council #7940 Msgr Roy M. McDonald, a member of the Board of Directors for the Ray of Hope Needy Kitchen, a member of the Golden Agers and Golden Jets Seniors Bowling League. He is survived by three daughters, Cathy Arnold, Janice Sutherland and her husband Brian all of Moncton, Nancy Belanger and her husband Greg of Calgary, AB; one son, Rick Arnold and his wife Sandra of Moncton, 10 grandchildren, Chelsie Gallant (Rob) of Riverview, Lindsay Paulin (Geoff) of New Zealand, Melissa Brown of Jasper, AB. Tiffany Brown of Moncton, Michael, Shawn and Kevin Belanger all of Calgary, AB., Megan and Lauren Sutherland and Alexander Dunn all of Moncton. great grand-daugther, Olivia Gallant and great grandson, Connor Belliveau; three sisters, Tia Robb of Moose Jaw Sask., Isabel Mossman of Calgary, AB. and Gladys Eatock of Belleville, On, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Dorilla (Cormier) Arnold in April 2002 and by two sisters, Edith Christian and Dorothy Arnold. Resting at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home 171 Lutz St. Moncton with visitation on Monday, June 2, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at 1:00 pm with Fr. Allison Carroll Officiating. A Vigil Service will be held at Tuttle Bros. Funeral Home Monday, June 2, 2003 at 8:00 pm. Interment will be a in Our Lady of Calvary Roman Catholic Cemetery, Dieppe, NB. Donations in Jack's memory made to Ray of Hope Needy Kitchen, St. Vincent de Paul Society or to Friends of the Moncton Hospital would be appreciated by his family.
