PARROTT, John–Passed peacefully away at the Veterans Memorial Pavilion on February 18th, 2009, at the age of 87. Predeceased by wife Marjorie, parents Abraham and Sarah, brother Hayward. Left to mourn sons: Kenneth (Bernice), Edward (Jocelyn); daughters: Alice (John), Mary (Reg); seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers: Kenneth (Winnie), Meryvn (Freddie), Gordon (Violet); sisters: Vera (Cyril), Nellie (Keith), Kathleen (Danny deceased), Rosemary (Chester), Rona (Reg); sister-in-law Hilda, as well as numerous relatives and friends, especially his VP3 family. No flowers by request, donations kindly accepted for St. Luke’s Church or Daffodil Place Cancer Society. Resting at Green’s Funeral Home, Winterton from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., Thursday, February 19th, from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m. Friday, February 20th, and from 10 a.m. - 12 noon Saturday, February 21st. Funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. from St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Winterton. Interment to follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery.
