For My Family & Friends
When – you can no longer talk to me.
When – you can no longer hug me.
When – you can no longer hear me laugh.
When – you can no longer hear me say
“How very much I love youâ€.
Then – you will know I’m gone.
When – you can talk about me without crying.
When – you can feel the warmth of when my arms were around you.
When – you can laugh at some of the things that we did together.
When – you realize how much I loved you…
without hearing me say it.
Then – you’ll know that you are at peace.
And will hold me in your hearts always
As I held you in mine.
