Rose Lynn Gammon, 89, formerly of Lyon’s Brook, passed away in the Shiretown Nursing Home, Pictou, February 19, 2009, with her daughter and son-in-law at her side.
She was predeceased by her husband, Elmo Gammon; sisters, Peggy, Bernadette; brothers: Raymond, Eugene and twin brother, Aloysius, killed in action during WWII.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Lynn is survived by her daughter, Barb Wright (John), Lyon’s Brook; three grandchildren: Paul Wright (Janet), Dartmouth; Mandy Krupski (Jake), New Hampshire; Erinn Moss (Rob), Dartmouth; and three great-grandchildren: Hannah Moss, Andrew and Alison Krupski.
She was a member of Stella Maris Parish, Pictou. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Friday in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. A mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 21st from Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Pictou, with Father Ray Huntley officiating. Burial will be in Stella Maris Parish Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Stella Maris Building Fund.
