Norman Amos PORT ELGIN, NB - The death of Norman Amos, age 80, occurred at the Westford Nursing Home in Port Elgin, on Monday, July 7, 2003. Born in Little Shemogue, he was the son of the late James and Emma (Scott) Amos. Norman was a farmer and fisherman, living in the Little Shemogue community all of his life. Norman is survived by his brother, Thomas (Stella) Amos, Guysborough County, NS; and by nieces Hilda (Stephen) Murphy, Liverpool, NS, and Leona Amos, Lower Sackville, NS. He was predeceased by brothers, Fred, Herbert and Ford. The remains are resting at the Jones Funeral Home, 3 West Main St., Port Elgin with visitation Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The Funeral service will be held at the Port Elgin United Church on Thursday, July 10, 2003 at 11 am. Burial in the Fernwood Cemetery.
