Hazel (Peggy) Margaret Cook (nee MacGregor) 1932 - 2003 CALGARY, AB - Hazel (Peggy) Margaret Cook (nee MacGregor) of Calgary AB, passed away at home on Friday, July 11, 2003 at the age of 71 years. Peggy was born in Upper Rexton, NB on January 2, 1932 to the late Kenneth and Eleanor MacGregor. She worked for a brief time as a teacher and later for the telephone company in NB. In the late 1960's she began employment with KFC, retiring after many enjoyable years in the late 1980's. She and her husband Bud spent their retirement traveling to Europe, Mexico and trips to the Maritimes. Peggy loved her children and grandchildren and will be dearly missed. Peggy is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Gary and Jan of Edmonton; and Allan of Calgary, AB; two daughters, and two sons-in-law, Lynda and Dan LaVallee of Morinville AB; and Shelley and Craig MacLaren of Calgary AB; as well as three grandchildren, Kevin of Edmonton AB, Christopher and Marc, of Morinville AB. She is also survived by Aunt Freda, Tom McWilliams and Aunt Marj; sister-in-law Marg MacGregor; and numerous nieces and nephews. Peggy was predeceased by her husband Charles (Bud) Thomas Cook; sister Betty Thompson; brother Sandy MacGregor; and Aunt Joan Stapleton. A Family Graveside Service will be held at Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Calgary AB at a later date.
