Carl Roy Leet TORONTO, ON - Carl Leet (W.W. II Veteran R.C.A.F., retired 30 year employee Air Canada). Peacefully on Sunday, July 13, 2003 at Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Centre (Kilgour Wing), where he had been a long time resident. Born Moncton, NB, January 4, 1920 to the late Alma (nee MacLeod) and William Leet. Beloved husband for 54 years of Shirley (nee Dalziel). Shining hero to daughters, Linda Tucker and Susan (Sam) Garnet. Proud Poppy of Tracy (Kyle) Brown and Great Poppy of Theoren. Survived by sisters, Joyce Pope of Okotoks, Alberta and Mona (Gerry) Comeau of Moncton, NB. Remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins, especially Ken (Hazel) McLeod of Halifax, NS and many other family and friends. Carl loved people and laughter and enjoyed life-long friendships with boyhood chums, fellow servicemen and many Air Canada colleagues. His greatest joy was in making others happy. The family will receive friends from 24 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, July 17 at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel (1403 Bayview Avenue South of Eglinton Avenue East). Private Memorial and Interment at a later date.
