Claude Joseph Durelle SUMMERSIDE, PE - The death occurred suddenly at his late residence on Tuesday, July 15, 2003 of Claude Joseph Durelle of Tanton Dr., Summerside and formerly of Bouctouche, NB., aged 71 years. He was a Veteran of the Korean War. Beloved husband of Noella (nee Savoie) Durelle. Loving father of Joanne (Dale) Campbell of Summerside and loving grandfather of Sean and Ashley Campbell. Survived by the following brothers and sisters, Albert (Melinda), John (Tina), Victor (Therese), Aurele (Jeanette), Julien (Simonne), Marc, Lydia (Ken) McKay, Dora Perrault (Mark McDonnell), Geraldine Gionet, Marie (Allard) LeGresley, Esther (Burton) Mahoney, and Kay (Placide) Vautour. Also lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law, Sandra Durelle and Margaret Durelle; along with several nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by his brothers, Leonard and Raymond. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Visiting hours on .Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A service of remembrance will be held at the funeral home by comrades of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 18, Miscouche on Thursday evening at 6:45pm. Funeral mass at St. Paul's Church, Summerside at 10:00am, on Friday, July 18, 2003. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Claude's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or St. Paul's Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
