William (Bill) J. Adams 1912 - 2003 Bill Adams, 90, formerly of Waverley Ave, Moncton passed away peacefully at the Kenneth E. Spencer Memorial Home on Thursday, July 17, 2003. Born in Lewisville, on October 15, 1912, he was the son of the late William J. and Maria (Jackson) Adams. Bill retired from the CN after 36 years in 1976. He was a lifetime member of International Association of Machinists and the Moncton Lions Senior Citizens. He attended Mountain View United Church and was an active member of the choir for many years. He had a great love of music and pursued his love in many ways by playing in the senior's band and singing with the Barbershop Quartet, as well as the Moncton District City Band. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor. Bill is survived by his children, Anne (Ed) Perry, Jack (Francis) Adams, Gary (Ruth) Adams, Nancy (Del) Mazerolle, David (Joyce) Adams, Kathy (Dale) Babcock, Stephen (Donna) Adams, Cindy (Paul) Lueken; sister Elsie Kemmer of Saskatchewan; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Bill was predeceased by his wife, Kathryn (Kay) Adams in 2002. By request there will not be any visitation prior to the Memorial Service to be held in the Chapel of Fair Haven Funeral Home, on Monday July 21, at 2 PM. There will be a gathering of family and friends in the Family Reception Room of the Funeral Home, immediately following the service. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens.
