Sophie Hachey 1914-2003 SHEDIAC, NB - Sophie Hachey, 89, wife of the late Yvon Hachey, of Providence St., Shediac passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2003 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital. Born May 10, 1914 in Shediac, she was the daughter of the late Stanislas, and Eugénie (Belliveau) Cormier. She is survived by a niece Bernice Cormier of Scoudouc, and seven nephews. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. Besides her husband, she was also predeceased by her sisters, Geneva, Lydia and her brothers, Amedée, Philippe, and Aurèle. Visitation at Frenette Funeral Home Ltd., 396 Main St., Shediac (532-3297) on Sunday from 2 to 4p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and on Monday from 10a.m. until time of departure at 10:50a.m. The funeral mass will be held at 10a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2003 at St-Joseph R.C. Church, Shediac. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
