G.J.E. "Gerry" Hiltz 1922 - 2003 REGINA, SK - G. J. E. "Gerry" Hiltz, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 9, 2003 at the age of 80, from cancer at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, Saskatchewan. Gerry was born December 4th, 1922, in Kentville, Nova Scotia, son of the late Ralph and Ada (nee Redden) Hiltz. Gerry was predeceased by his wife, Marjorie (nee Houghton) in 1980 and his sister, Dorothy in 1999. He is survived by his brother, Claredon (Pat) Hiltz (Nepean, ON); children, Kathryn (Michael) Drope (Pilot Butte, SK), Lynn (Bob) England (Regina, SK), and Geoff (Edith) Hiltz (Calgary, AB); seven grandchildren, Courtney, Tim, and Jay (England) and Emily, Matthew, Michael, and Sarah (Hiltz); special friend, Irene Watson (Regina, SK). A heartfelt "thank you" to the staff of Ward 4A at the Pasqua Hospital. Flowers most gratefully declined. Memorial Service with Masonic Rites will be held on Wednesday, August 13th at 2:30 p.m. at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina. SK. Interment in Falmouth, Nova Scotia.
